I have always used my art as a vehicle for awareness, growth and understanding of life.
Every phase of the work directly correlates with the process of unfolding levels of insight.
Through years of intense personal search a clear narrative string has emerged that can be identified.
This body of work starts out with containers, which represent the process of discovery.
It is about looking inward for the first time and gaining awareness. I compare this process to that of
the archeologist who comes across a dark cave after persistent digging and shines a light to it.
From this probing excavation of the deepest and hidden parts of the self I move
to break the container and therefore initiate the process of the ‘flowering of the self’.
This process is the process of becoming. No longer static, it is organic in nature.
It contains movement and visible change.
Following this phase, the work progresses into the place I call ‘Pure Being’.
‘Pure Being’ is the place of neutrality and perfect balance, beyond duality.
The works that comprise this segment reflect a celebration for life.
They emit exuberance and a blissful silence.
Total harmony with life is the ultimate goal of this process.
